Grapevine Mortar Joint

We want to brag a bit on our Masons at Fetters Construction. This is an example of what some label as a grapevine mortar joint. Others call it an extruded mortar joint. Either way, it is an extremely difficult and time-consuming way to finish off masonry. Yet one of our teams of Masons, at the historic John Howe Mansion in Howe, IN, took the time, attention, and pride in restoring ALL of the mortar joints making up the foundation of this beautiful structure. Building Excellence takes many forms, all of which require dedication to this excellence by every member of the FCI team.
